The Hobo And The Plain-Clothes Man
"Give me a dime for a cup of coffee ?" asked the hobo of the plain-clothes man.
"Do you ever work ?" said the plain-clothes man
"Now and then."
"What do you do ?"
"This and that."
"Where ?"
"Oh, here and there."
The plain-clothes man took him to the police station.
"When do I get out of here ?" wailed the hobo.
"Sooner or later," growled the desk sergeant.
