Peter Thomas Geach ( /ˈɡiːtʃ/; born March 29, 1916) is a British philosopher. His areas of interest are the history of philosophy, philosophical logic, and the theory of identity.
He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford. He taught philosophy at Birmingham University (1951–1966) and at the University of Leeds (1966–1981).[1]
