When you think of your car and what makes it fast or reliable or
efficient, you probably don't think about the exhaust. There are many
different exhausts out there but they all allow you to see what's going
on inside your car, just through the colour of the smoke they emit.

The exhaust system is responsible for transporting the burned exhaust
or combustion gases, from the car's engine and out through the tail
pipe. The exhaust system is basically just a long tube attached to the
engine and extending out the rear of the vehicle. It consists of many
parts including the exhaust manifold which is attached directly to the
side of the engine and is the first part to receive the burned exhaust
gases. There are also the exhaust pipes which take the full blow of the
exhaust system along with the muffler and catalytic converter, all of
which keep your car going.
