The first way to find science projects that don’t cost much is by finding things around the house that you can use. The more things you can find around your house for the science project the less it will cost.

The next way you can find science projects that don’t cost that mush is by buying a science project book. You can either go online or go to your local book store. There are books out there that have ideas for science projects that you can do that don’t cost much.

Another way you can find science projects that don’t cost much is by picking something that you won’t have to put a whole lot into the presentation. For example, if you do a science project on embryology, you would have to get an incubator, eggs that are fertilized, etc. However, if you do a project about electricity, you can use around the house items that conduct electricity to do so.

The next way you can find science projects that don’t cost much is by asking around. Get ideas from neighbors and friends. See what kind of science projects their kids have done. Go to the dollar store to see if you can find the supplies you need. In all reality it doesn’t matter how much your materials are and what brand they are. You just want to make an efficient science project that will work. So try to find a deal. Look through your weekly ads to try and save money. Save money where ever you can. Just make sure your kids have fun while doing their science project.

Science projects that don’t cost much can be just as good as or better than the more expensive ones. Can you think of a science project that you did that didn’t cost that much to make, and thinking how cool it was? For instance did you ever make a volcano? Volcano’s are cheap all you have to do is by the clay for the outside of the volcano. If you wanted to go as far as not buying clay you could make your own. You can find different recipes on line for play dough. Then all you need is food coloring, baking soda, and vinegar. Then you put the baking soda in and the food coloring of your chose. This will be the color of the hot lava that is coming out. Then when you are ready add the vinegar and watch your volcano erupt. This is just an example of one inexpensive way of doing a science project. There are so many our there.

The best things to do to get your kids involved in science and do science projects that don’t cost that much is to find out what they are interested in. Then Research with your kids and find new ideas that pertain to their interest. Then sit down with your kids and figure out what they want to learn about in the experiment. Then take their ideas and find the experiment that you think they will take the most from. Look up on the internet for hints and ideas, and get to work.
